Así como el día anterior hablábamos de las tendencias de la primavera-verano ’14, hoy en esta sección, trataré de centrarme en una sola de las propuestas y daros consejos e ideas de, por ejemplo, cómo combinar diferentes tendencias para conseguir looks de 10 o, también, cómo utilizar esa tendencia en el marco de un estilo determinado.

Hoy elegí los colores pastel por varias razones, a saber: me encantan, están en todas partes y se van a llevar en la ropa, el maquillaje, las uñas y los complementos. O sea, que más nos vale saber cómo sacarles el mejor partido posible.

Las principales formas, y también las más sencillas, de combinar los colores pastel en un outfit son, por un lado, combinarlo con otros colores que también tengan la misma tonalidad pastel y hacer un mix, creando unos looks suaves y románticos; si lo que te gusta sin embargo es darle protagonismo a las prendas pastel, lo mejor es combinarla con colores neutros (gris, blanco y negro); pero, también puedes combinarlo con otras prendas de colores más fuertes para que contraste y el look tenga un efecto degradé. Por último, otra de las formas más utilizadas son crear outfits completamente en pastel y darle brillo al look con complementos fuertes que resalten. Aún así se me ocurren muchas formas más, como por ejemplo, combinarlo con prendas o complementos con estampados u otros detalles.

En resumen, los colores pastel suavizan mucho los looks, una de las razones por las cuales me encantan, y funcionan muy bien en estilos más románticos. Para combinarlos, personalmente, prefiero hacerlo con colores neutros, en situaciones más formales, y con otros pasteles cuando se trata de mi tiempo libre y el fin es divertirse.

Last post was about some of the trends for next spring-summer ’14. Today, in this section, I’d like to focus on one of these trends, for example, to give you some advice and tips about how to wear different trends or how to combine them to create the best outfits.

Today I’ve chosen the pastel colours, because of many reason: I love this trend, it’s really in and you can find news related with it everywhere and they’ll be wore in clothes, makeup, nails and complements. So, it’s important that we know how to take advantage of this trend.

The main ways, and also the easiest ones, to combine the pastel colours are: combining between them, creating soft and romantic looks; using them with other neutral colours (as white, grey and black) to highlight pastel clothes; or combining them with other brighter clothes to get a look with an degrade effect. Another way of using pastel colours is creating total pastel looks and wearing them with other complements in brighter colours. Anyway, I can thing many other ways to wear them, for example, combining pastel colours with other clothes or complements with any kind of prints or embellished details.

To sum up, pastel colours make softer any look, and that’s one of the reasons, because I love them, and they work for creating romantic styles. In order to combine them, I prefer using them with other neutral colours, in formal occasions. But, in my free time, I wear them in combination with other pastel clothes; it’s more fun!

Se acerca Fin de Año y seguro que tod@s tenéis claro el modelito que luciréis esa noche. Para las más rezagadas, os diré que yo apostaré, una vez más, por aquello que nunca falla: el vestido negro. Tod@s tenemos uno en el fondo de armario y, además, se puede lucir de diferentes formas y darle nuevos estilos con los complementos acertados.

Si aún no tenéis nada claro, pero tenéis uno de estos must-haves en el closet, os daré algunas ideas para combinarlo y que parezca totalmente nuevo y diferente.

Hi everybody,

New Year’s Eve is coming and most of you have already decided what you’re going to wear for that special night. In case you don’t know it yet, I’ll tell you that I’ll wear a basic which never fails: a little black dress. I know that all of us have one of them in the closet and it can be wore in different ways with proper complements.

Then, if you still have some doubts, but you have one of these must-haves in your closet, I’ll give you some ideas about how to wear it with new complements.
